Global Prime continues to expand its presence in the United States. In a strategic visit to the ports of Manatee (Florida) and Houston (Texas), our team reinforced key logistics partnerships, monitored operational processes, and reaffirmed the company’s commitment to excellence and innovation at every stage of the supply chain.
In Houston, Texas, the Global Prime team was welcomed by representatives from CPA — one of the country’s leading logistics operators. This exchange of experiences allowed for expectation alignment, discussion of process improvements, and the strengthening of synergy between teams — always with a focus on delivery efficiency and compliance with international quality standards.
With over 20 years of presence at Port Manatee in Florida, Global Prime has maintained a strong relationship with this important logistics hub. The visit to the facility included a meeting with the port’s CEO, Carlos Buqueras, where strategies to strengthen operations and explore expansion opportunities were discussed. The meeting was also attended by key industry figures such as Shawn L. Smith (Chief Operations Officer), Troy R. Layton (also Chief Operations Officer), Carlos Buqueras (Port CEO), as well as our directors Leonardo De Zorzi and Cesar Alberto Cemin.
The team also met with Adrian Seeba, General Manager, and Andre Dubois, Vice President of Operations for the Southeastern U.S., both from Logistec — the logistics operator that has played a key role in the success of our exports.
By closely monitoring handling and storage procedures, the visit aimed to ensure that Global Prime’s high standards for quality and safety continue to be upheld in U.S. territory.
More than just a visit, this initiative was a strategic step in building an even more integrated and efficient logistics chain. Strengthening partnerships, overseeing operations on the ground, and continuously investing in innovation are what maintain Global Prime as a reference in the lumber sector.
We continue to invest in excellence, relationships, and trust. We thank our partners CPA and Logistec for their warm welcome and continued collaboration. Global Prime remains committed to the success of our clients — in Brazil, in the United States, and across all the markets we serve.
